Open Letter to Our Redeemer Congregants and Regular Worshipers

God is our refuge and strength an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Beloved members and friends of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church,
As we all know, Our Redeemer is easily recognized as a loving, caring church family. It is after much thought and prayer that in order to protect our most vulnerable members, we will be temporarily suspending all church services including midweek Lenten and Sunday School activities until Palm Sunday, April 5th. We know that we have been asked to practice social distancing, which may seem isolating. As a means of staying connected with one another, we now have the opportunity for each of us to reach out to fellow members and friends with a phone call, text or email to check on their wellbeing.
Pastor Freitag has graciously volunteered to provide us with a written text of his Sunday and Lenten sermons which will be emailed to you or mailed out to those without email access.
Please take this opportunity to look at our website, ourredeemerlutheran.org for ongoing information and references for daily Bible readings and devotions. You will also find there a new link to the current week’s ‘The Lutheran Hour’ program. Additionally, radio station KAWZ Orting, 105.7 FM, broadcasts TLH on Sundays at 7:00 a.m. and on SIRIUS-XM Family Talk 131 Sundays at 10:00 a.m.
There have been questions about how to continue financial support to Our Redeemer during this time of social distancing. This can be accomplished by mailing your offering to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, PO Box 7127, Bonney Lake, WA 98391
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to give me a call 425-681-8290.
We know that God is in control, and He promises to be with us through any trials that we face.
